Services March 30 for Mac Turnage

 (PNS) Mac Turnage, a retired Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) pastor, theological educator, and author, died March 19 at an Atlanta hospital.

After serving pastorates in Charlotte and Houston, Turnage served on the faculty of Union Theological Seminary in Virginia from 1971-1980. He and his wife, Anne,
co-authored the books, More Than You Dare to Ask and Grace Keeps You Going: Spiritual Wisdom From Cancer Survivors, telling the story of Anne’s battle with cancer, from which she remains cancer free.  

In addition to his wife, Turnage is survived by a daughter, Lynn who is Christian educator for Central Church in Atlanta, and two grandchildren, Catherine and
Elizabeth.

A memorial service will be held at Central Church on March 30.
