Michael Adee, executive director of More Light Presbyterians for 13 years, is leaving the organization to work with an international project involving faith and gay, lesbian, transgendered and bisexual persons. The new global initiative is sponsored by the Horizons Foundation of San Francisco. Adee’s last day with More Light Presbyterians will be July 31, following the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). An openly gay elder, Adee was the first staff member ever hired by More Light Presbyterians, an advocacy organization that has worked for justice for gays and lesbians in the PC(USA). Patrick Evans, a musician and artist-in-residence at Broadway Presbyterian Church in New York City, will become More Light’s interim executive director. |

Congratulations on you new opportunity.
It sounds like you are widening the scope of your efforts to a worldwide audience, and also more encompassing, including all religions. What a wonderful, yet challenging position it will be for you.
You bring a wealth of experience and a wonderful personality to this worldwide position.
I wish you the best, and hope you will still keep MLP in touch with your efforts, and call on all of us for support when necessary.
Regards.......Dick Myers
