I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

I hate to see this, but good for PW. I am glad they now have "the flexibility" they need to survive. - Vern Farnum

So with this decisive delineation for PW, now as a separate incorporation and with full financial self-review over its finances and affairs, mean that its seat on the General Assembly Mission Council will be eliminated? After all, isn't representation on the GAMC contingent on the group being a true program OF the GAMC? I could understand a liaison role being appropriate, but I don't understand a seat given on the PCUSA GAMC to a separate organization that is not reviewed or operated as a subministry of the PCUSA. - David Hackett

This makes no sense. We recently saw the attempt to incorporate PDA to down in flames. There is a effort under way at Ghost Ranch. What next, Presbyterian news Service? Or housekeeping services at 100 Witherspoon?
