			<description>I liked the lessons Donald McKim draws from baseball.  One  additional lesson perhaps for our Church is that the American and National leagues play by different rules, with one allowing a Designated Hitter and the other not, and they still manage to live together as Major League Baseball.

Incidentally, Bobby Thompson hit his famed 1951 home run  to end the NL playoff with the Dodgers, not the World Series, which the Giants lost to the Yankees. Giant fans have always thought the World Series was really anti-climactic anyway after that 'shot heard 'round the world'.
